Beautiful little house in a great location. Lovely to find milk, orange juice, wine and pastries to welcome us. Very comfortable with pretty covered terrace. Very friendly neighbours. Floors between bedrooms very thin so you can hear everything as if you're in the same room. Great location and Baunei was a great base with just amazing views! Graziella checked us in and was charming and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you Maria Christina!

Siamo stati accolti da tanta gentilezza. Nonostante siamo arrivati molto tardi, Maria Cristina ci ha dato informazioni molto dettagliate su come raggiungere la casa e ci ha aspettato ed accompagnato. Tutta l'esperienza a dom'e pedra è stata fantastica, soprattutto per la grandissima cura dei particolari, il silenzio, la sensazione di essere a casa. Siamo stati molto bene e consigliamo l'esperienza a tutti, anche perché raggiungere le meravigliose spiagge e le numerose bellezze di cui è piena quella parte della Sardegna, è semplicissimo da Baunei.

We were greeted by Graziella near the house, who was very friendly and helpful, responding at once to our questions anytime. Baunei is a beautiful village in the mountains abiut 15 min drive from the seaside. It was our base from where we went everyday to different location. The house itself was also very beautiful and cosy and clean. We didn't have to use the air conditioning because there was fresh air at night in middle of june, but in august you might need it, it has extra costs though. Don't forget hiking shoes. Europe's most beautiful beaches which are nearto Baunei, can be reached only by boat or by foot through the mountains. Location and people are very nice, definetly recommended!

My partner Dave and I were lucky enough to have stayed at Maria Cristina's apartment in Baunie this October. The apartment was perfect and full of atmosphere and personal touches. We enjoyed nights in the apartment and walking out to sample the local restaurants and browse the local shops. A highlight for me was discovering the wonderful Ciabbata in the neighbouring bakery/supermarket and sampling local wines. We also went further afield to hike on the Golgo plateau and snorkel/swim at the stunning Pedra Longa. We enjoyed the local Sardinian 'pizza' made with potato for the base at the beach bar L'Olivistra in Sainta Maria Nevasse. This holiday felt like we enjoyed and experienced the real Sardinia and I would thoroughly recommend Maria Cristina's apartment to other travellers looking for an authentic, peaceful and exciting holiday off the beaten track.
